Regent Seven Seas Cruises appoints Wesley D'Silva as the company's new president, a position he officially assumed on March 2nd.
D'Silva expressed his enthusiasm for this new professional chapter in a LinkedIn post, stating that he feels "incredibly motivated and optimistic about what lies ahead." He also thanked the colleagues who have supported his career within the company, as well as the guests and business partners worldwide, whom he described as an extension of the company itself, part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
“It is their collaboration and trust in our vision that continues to drive us forward,” said D’Silva, who stressed that his priority will be to consolidate the brand’s solid foundations and continue raising the standards of the ultra-luxury segment.
Prior to this appointment, D'Silva served as Chief Commercial Officer at Regent Seven Seas Cruises. He joined the cruise line in 2010, when it was part of Prestige Cruise Holdings, and has extensive experience in revenue management and financial operations. Over the years, he has held various positions in the finance and revenue management departments at both Regent and its parent company, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
In 2016, he assumed responsibilities in the revenue management area at Regent, progressively expanding his management scope until his recent promotion. Wesley D'Silva graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Miami, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.
