Celestyal offers tablets in the cabins that enhance the passenger experience

Celestyal  has completed the implementation of tablets to enhance the passenger experience in all 630 cabins of the Celestyal Journey, becoming the first cruise line to introduce SuitePad tablets in all its onboard accommodations.

Celestyal offers tablets in the cabins that enhance the passenger experienceThe tablets, provided by SuitePad, are now available to all travelers on the 1,260-passenger ship. Designed to optimize onboard services and simplify information communication, this technology allows guests to manage key aspects of their cruise directly from their cabin.

Using tablets, passengers can request services and purchases in onboard shops, order room service, request cabin upgrades, and reserve tables in specialty restaurants. They can also access essential information, such as deck plans and schedules for shows and onboard entertainment, replacing printed programs and brochures.

Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer of Celestyal, stated: “Technology should always make the cruise experience easier and more intuitive for our travelers, and that’s exactly what these tablets are designed to achieve. Our passengers now have more control at their fingertips, while we create smarter, more seamless ways to connect them with our onboard offerings. It’s a great example of how we continue to invest in guest satisfaction across our entire fleet.”

Moritz von-Petersdorf-Campen, CEO of SuitePad, commented: “Cruise ships combine many of the service elements that guests know from hotels, while also offering an exceptionally rich onboard experience. With Celestyal, we are expanding our hospitality expertise to support clear and timely in-cabin communication, giving passengers an easy way to explore what’s available onboard and helping crew teams stay connected with guests throughout the voyage.”.

The Celestyal Journey operates year-round, offering seven- and 14-night itineraries around the Greek Islands and the Mediterranean from April to November, and seven-night cruises in the Arabian Gulf from November to March.
