Josh Weinstein, president and CEO of Carnival Corporation & plc, appointed chairman of the Cruise Lines International Association's Global Executive Committee

Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation & plc, has been appointed chairman of CLIA for a two-year term, from 2026 to 2027. Weinstein succeeds Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, who served as chairman during a period of continued recovery and growth for the industry.

As president, Weinstein will lead the guidance that the GEC provides to CLIA, including contributing to the definition of the association's strategies and ongoing efforts to promote policies that enable responsible operations, foster innovation, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and support initiatives that allow the cruise industry to continue generating economic and social benefits in key markets around the world.
