Oceania Cruises is unveiling luxuriously redesigned and newly created suites aboard Oceania Sonata, the first ship in the highly anticipated Sonata Class, debuting in August 2027. Designed with the modern luxury traveler in mind, Oceania Sonata will offer a greater variety and number of suites, with 33% of its accommodations dedicated to suites. At 86,000 gross tons, the ship will be exceptionally spacious and will carry only 1,390 guests, served by 855 crew members.

“We have listened carefully to our guests’ wishes and are thrilled to introduce the thoughtfully reimagined suites on Oceania Sonata,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises. “Oceania Sonata is a triumph of spacious design and meticulous craftsmanship, reflecting our unwavering commitment to extraordinary experiences and our unique brand of hospitality.”.
The four Owner's Suites, each over 230 square meters, stand as the crown jewels of the ship. Located at the aft corners of decks 10 and 11, they offer breathtaking 180-degree ocean views from their expansive wraparound terraces. For the first time on Oceania Cruises, each Owner's Suite features two elegant bedrooms: a master suite with a king-size bed and a spa-style bathroom clad in marble, and a guest bedroom with a queen-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto the expansive private terrace.
The eight Vista Suites, ranging in size from over 140 to over 175 square meters, rival the finest land-based retreats. Set on terraces at the stern of the ship, these suites offer uninterrupted ocean views from expansive panoramic decks. Their interiors feature sophisticated furnishings and delicate marble accents, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance, complemented by generous living and dining areas. The luxurious master bathroom is a true oasis, boasting double vanities, a rainfall shower, and a deep porcelain soaking tub.
The 16 exquisitely redesigned Oceania Suites, ranging in size from 92m2 to over 130m2, are thoughtfully conceived for travelers who appreciate the perfect balance of comfort and style. Living, dining, and bedroom spaces flow seamlessly together, while the private teak terrace offers an ideal setting for relaxation, enhanced by the sea breeze and spectacular views. Each suite features a king-size bed and an opulent marble-clad bathroom, where every detail has been carefully considered for maximum enjoyment.
The 50 Horizon Suites represent an entirely new category, created for the aspirational luxury traveler. Positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories, they offer over 55 square meters of elegantly designed space and reflect a contemporary style. Separate living and sleeping areas, a walk-in closet, and a spacious terrace with luxurious lounge furniture create an ideal retreat for moments of serenity.
Completing the suite collection are the 63 Penthouse Suites and the 82 new Penthouse Deluxe Suites, measuring 40m² and 45m² respectively, each designed as an elegant sanctuary. Guests can relax in the spacious living area with panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling glass doors, or enjoy the tranquility of the ocean from the private terrace. Every finish and detail has been carefully selected to create a haven of peace on the high seas.
All suites include a personal butler, ensuring that every wish and need is attended to. The Owner's, Vista, Oceania, and Horizon Suites also feature in-suite illy® coffee machines, allowing guests to enjoy authentic Italian coffee at any time of day or night. Throughout the suite, guests will enjoy state-of-the-art Tranquility Beds and luxurious Aquamar® bath amenities, further enhancing the experience.
