Silversea has concluded its 2025 Venetian Society Reunion Cruise, welcoming its extended family aboard the Silver Spirit. From October 17 to 29, a record number of Venetian Society members—Silversea's loyalty program—traveled to 11 ports in three countries, on a voyage led by the company's president, Bert Hernandez, along with other brand executives.
Sailing from Fusina (Venice) to Athens (Piraeus), guests enjoyed exclusive events, special receptions, enriched entertainment, organized excursions and commemorative gifts, designed to strengthen ties and foster the spirit of discovery.
“The Venetian Society Reunion Cruises are a testament to the deep sense of community that defines our brand,” said Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea. “These voyages celebrate not only our most loyal travelers, but also the spirit of curiosity that inspires every Silversea journey. It was a pleasure to share this unforgettable experience with our guests, both returning and new, in some of the world’s most beloved destinations.”.
A welcome ceremony at the port of Fusina (Venice) kicked off the 2025 Reunion Cruise. Guests were greeted with colorful decorations, flowers, and live music performed by artists in typical Venetian costumes, setting the mood for a voyage along the Italian coast.
In the region, travelers were able to admire the impressive local architecture, including historical monuments such as St. Mark's Basilica and Piazza San Marco in Venice, as well as Piazza Unità d'Italia in Trieste.
In Dubrovnik (Croatia), passengers explored the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town and visited a family estate in the Konavle Valley to taste local wines.
After a stop in the Italian port city of Bari, the Silver Spirit sailed to the Greek islands, combining iconic destinations like Santorini and Rhodes with hidden gems such as Monemvasia and Souda Bay. In the medieval city of Rhodes, passengers enjoyed an Aegean Evening, featuring meze, Greek wines, and music under the stars, culminating in a seaside banquet and a show dedicated to Hellenic traditions.
The 12-day Mediterranean immersion ended in Athens (Piraeus), where travelers explored the museums, galleries, and architectural ruins of the Greek capital.
Throughout the voyage, exclusive onboard events were offered, including a champagne afternoon tea where stewards and officers served cakes and crepes to live music. Three local shows were also performed, along with a special dinner and reception hosted by Silversea executives.
Two gala dinners with champagne stood out, paired with Duval-Leroy's Heritage Collection, which included exceptional vintages such as Fleur de Champagne Cuvées 1988, 1997 and 2002, and the prestigious non-vintage Femme de Champagne, 2002, 2008 and the exquisite rosé 2008. Each cuvée, made with Premier and Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, offered a unique sensory profile, reflecting elegance and an exploratory spirit.
Following this year's success, Silversea invites guests to the 2026 Reunion Cruise, sailing aboard Silver Shadow from June 19 to July 1. Departing from and returning to Nice, this 12-day Mediterranean voyage will explore the iconic destinations and hidden gems of Italy, Sicily, Malta, and the French Riviera. Passengers will enjoy onboard receptions, immersive culinary experiences, and more than 100 carefully curated shore excursions, a tribute to the company's most loyal travelers.
