Virgin Voyages lit up Miami on October 16th with a celebration to officially welcome its newest ship, the Brilliant Lady. The event, filled with music, glamour, and energy, brought together more than 2,000 guests, including celebrities, international media, influencers, brand partners, and over 1,000 First Mates, the company's preferred travel agents.
Among the figures present were DJ Khaled, rapper Swae Lee, Selling Sunset star Polly Brindle, actors Agustina Palma and Lilimar Hernández, as well as the renowned members of Real Housewives of Miami : Kiki Barth, Alexia Nepola, Marysol Patton and Larsa Pippen.
The evening was 100% Virgin: bold, musical, and dazzling. Attendees enjoyed the world premiere of Red Hot, a rockumentary celebrating Virgin Group's more than 50-year musical legacy, featuring archival footage of Sir Richard Branson and high-voltage live performances.
The show included hits from iconic artists such as Spice Girls, Janet Jackson, David Bowie, Queen, The Killers and The Sex Pistols, creating an immersive experience that brought the entire audience to their feet.
The event also allowed guests to discover some of the exclusive new features of the Brilliant Lady, including:
- Up With a Twist, a Gatsby- inspired Supper Club that revives the spirit of the 1920s with a theatrical and glamorous touch.
- Secret Vintage, a speakeasy- style wine tasting hidden behind secret doors.
- The Stitch Up, a modern barbershop located in the Social Club.
- Rojo, a restaurant inspired by Spanish cuisine.
The night culminated with Electric, a neon party at The Manor that lasted until the early hours of the morning, in an explosion of lights, rhythm and color.
With the Miami skyline as a backdrop, the event marked an emotional homecoming for the brand. The Brilliant Lady will spend the next few weeks sailing the Caribbean before crossing the Panama Canal to Los Angeles and then on to Alaska, where it will offer cruises in the spring of 2026.
Shortly thereafter, for the first time ever, Virgin Voyages' four ships —Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady— will reunite in the Caribbean, marking a historic moment for the company and reaffirming its commitment to delivering an innovative and sophisticated adults-only offshore travel experience.
