Travelmarvel, part of the APT Travel Group, presents the Travelmarvel Sirius, a new riverboat that will begin sailing on the Nile River from September 2026.
This vessel marks the company's return to one of the world's most iconic waterways, offering a more personalized cruise experience focused on comfort and cultural immersion.
Designed with only 62 cabins, the Travelmarvel Sirius will feature inviting social spaces, a large pool, and interiors inspired by the heritage and history of the Nile.
“Given our aspirations for the Travelmarvel brand, it was logical to offer an experience on one of the longest and most historically significant rivers in the world,” explained Paul Melinis, Managing Director of APT Luxury and Travelmarvel for the UK and Europe.
The ship's name takes its inspiration from Egyptian history. Known as the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius was revered by the ancient Egyptians as a celestial sign of the Nile's annual flooding.
“Just like the star it is named after, we are confident that the Sirius will set a new standard for Nile cruises, offering the level of service, personalization and comfort characteristic of Travelmarvel, all at an excellent value,” added Melinis.
Sailing from Luxor, the Travelmarvel Sirius will offer a comprehensive seven-day itinerary at a relaxed pace, with stops in Dendera, Karnak, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan. The highlight of the trip will be a private charter flight to the temples of Abu Simbel.
Onboard, guests will find amenities that blend modern comfort with Egyptian heritage. Cabins include Deluxe Cabins and the exclusive Pharaoh Suite, all with river views. The sundeck features a pool and bar, while the Ramses Lounge will offer entertainment inspired by regional culture.
Dining options include the Nefertari Restaurant and the Tutankhamun Terrace Café, serving local and international cuisine. Packages include 25 meals and selected beverages.
According to APT Travel Group, the launch of the Travelmarvel Sirius reaffirms its commitment to developing immersive river experiences in key destinations around the world, thus extending the Travelmarvel brand's presence to Egypt's legendary Nile from 2026.
