Crystal Cruises has announced two key milestones in the construction of its first new ship, scheduled for delivery in May 2028. This will be the brand's first new vessel in 25 years and the first under the ownership of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group.
The steel cutting for the ship will take place in May 2026, followed by the laying of the keel in December 2026, officially marking the start of a new chapter in Crystal's illustrious history.

The name of the new ship will be announced soon, along with details about its inaugural voyages and new suite categories, which will be revealed before the end of the year. The inaugural 2028 season will go on sale in spring 2026, with a waitlist available in advance.
