Hapag-Lloyd will be bilingual in German and English from 2026

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises launches a new phase of brand communication with its campaign “WORLD. WIDE. WONDERFUL. Book your dream cruise 2026 now”, which will run from September 16 to October 31, 2025.

Hapag-Lloyd will be bilingual in German and English from 2026“The new campaign is a logical continuation of our brand launch earlier this year and shows how we are placing even greater emphasis on the unique experience aboard Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. This is one of our strengths, with satisfaction rates exceeding 90%, confirmed by guest surveys after each cruise. Naturally, we also want to share this feeling with new customers,” says Clas Eckholt, Vice President of Sales at TUI Cruises.

The Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet comprises the two luxury ships EUROPA and EUROPA 2, as well as the three expedition ships HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC inspiration, and HANSEATIC spirit. Two ships – EUROPA 2 and HANSEATIC inspiration – already operate bilingually in German and English; and from January 2026, the entire fleet will offer bilingual cruises, opening up to guests from around the world without altering the essence that makes Hapag-Lloyd Cruises unique. “Guests seeking personalized experiences combined with luxury will find in Hapag-Lloyd Cruises the ideal provider of dream cruises. For more than 130 years, the fleet has stood for luxury. This development ensures that international guests can access our range of personalized and exclusive luxury experiences, with bilingual service and seamless communication on board, without compromising privacy, elegance, or authenticity,” emphasizes Eckholt.

On the three expedition ships, the focus will be on the spectacular natural and adventure worlds of the Arctic, while on the smaller luxury ships EUROPA and EUROPA 2, the central themes will be service, gastronomy, and entertainment. A total of 26 cruises are highlighted, with an emphasis on the current early bird discount available until October 31, 2025. The campaign includes select Mediterranean routes with the luxury fleet and exploration routes to the East and West Arctic with the expedition fleet, as well as itineraries in the Baltic Sea, the British Isles, cruises to the North Cape, and the extraordinary expedition through the Northwest Passage.

Travel agencies will benefit from a complete package of campaign materials: 36-page campaign brochure with cover letter, animated flipbook brochure with many videos, images and integrated links, social media templates and brand video (20 seconds, special version for travel agencies).
