Holland America Line has announced its 2027 season in Canada and New England, with a collection that includes itineraries designed to showcase the region's iconic national parks and rich cultural heritage, plus a new cruise dedicated to the area's iconic lighthouses.
From May to October, Volendam and Zuiderdam will offer 20 voyages across 13 itineraries, featuring cruise vacations ranging from seven to 14 days. Each voyage will highlight the charming cities of Canada and New England, their cuisine, maritime history, and natural wonders. Nearly all itineraries include scenic sailing on the St. Lawrence River and stops in Montreal or Quebec City.

One of the season's highlights is the new nine-day "Lighthouses and Harbors of Canada and New England" itinerary aboard Volendam, departing October 2, 2027, from Montreal to New York City. Guests will visit up to 10 iconic lighthouses on 22 different excursions, including the historic Portland Head Light in Maine and the legendary Peggy's Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia, one of Canada's most photographed. Scenic sailing and port calls such as Halifax, Charlottetown, and Bar Harbor round out this themed voyage.
For those seeking a deeper immersion in Canadian culture, the popular 10-day "Canada & New England Circle: New France & Montreal" itinerary is available. This round-trip tour from Montreal visits several Canadian ports, as well as destinations in New France, including Quebec City, Saguenay, Prince Edward Island, Saint Pierre, and St. John's.
Nature lovers can choose the 11-day "Canada & New England Circle: Maritimes & New France" itinerary, which offers the rare opportunity to visit five national parks in a single trip. Sailing from Montreal to Boston, guests will explore the coastal dunes of Prince Edward Island; Jacques-Cartier National Park from Quebec City; Gros Morne National Park from Corner Brook, Newfoundland; the Mingan Archipelago from Havre-Saint-Pierre, Quebec; and Saguenay Fjord National Park. The itinerary includes stops in St. Anthony (Newfoundland), St. John's (overnight departure), Corner Brook, Halifax (overnight departure), Quebec City, Saguenay, Baie-Comeau (Quebec), and Havre-Saint-Pierre.
