CroisiEurope presents the details of its new Amazon itineraries, which will begin in 2027 aboard its luxurious new ship, the MV Brasilian Dream, offering a unique ecotourism experience along the Amazon River, the Rio Negro, the Solimões, the Arapiuns and the Tapajós, reaching the border with Colombia.
There will be three 11-day itineraries to choose from: “The Amazon and the Rio Negro”, with a round trip from Manaus; “The Amazon and the Tapajós River”, between Manaus and Santarém; and “Cruise on the Amazon between Brazil and Colombia”, between Manaus and Tabatinga.
Among the main attractions of these cruises are visits to important parks and UNESCO protected areas; wildlife observation on foot, in inflatable boats and in traditional canoes; encounters with indigenous communities; night excursions; visits to floating villages and settlements on the riverbanks; learning about local crafts, plants and products of the area; and a variety of lectures on board.
The cruises will take place aboard the RV Brasilian Dream, which accommodates 32 passengers and has four decks. The ship will be decorated with wood, vibrant colors, and art and craft elements inspired by Amazonian culture. It features 16 suites with private balconies, including two presidential suites, a gourmet restaurant with dishes inspired by Brazilian cuisine, a spa, a gym, a pleasant solarium, and a conference room.
As part of its commitment to the protection and preservation of the Amazon, CroisiEurope will implement the latest ecological innovations, such as engines that meet the most demanding environmental standards, an advanced wastewater treatment system and solar panels that will allow the generators to be switched off at night and run on batteries.
On board, sustainable practices will be promoted, and on land, responsible tourism will benefit local communities through encounters with Amazonian populations in the area, to share knowledge and stories, support local initiatives and protect biodiversity, ensuring that each guest takes advantage of this enriching experience to become an ambassador for the Amazon.
