AROYA Cruises begins its season in the Mediterranean

Since its inaugural voyage in December 2024, AROYA Cruises, the first Arabian cruise company, has successfully completed its first season in the Red Sea and is now beginning its journey to the Mediterranean in preparation for the launch of its first season in this region, which begins on June 28.

CN71The ship arrived at Galataport Istanbul, its new home port in the Mediterranean, on June 20, after calling at the popular Turkish coastal resorts of Kaş and Bodrum. It is currently undergoing routine maintenance before its maiden commercial voyage.

Until mid-September, AROYA will explore the wonders of the Eastern Mediterranean with six- and seven-night itineraries, including ports in Turkey, Greece, and Egypt, combining iconic destinations with an Arabian-inspired experience. In addition to Kaş and Bodrum, the cruise will visit Marmaris in Turkey, Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes, and Souda Bay in Greece, and Alexandria in northern Egypt.

Since its inaugural voyage in December 2024, AROYA Cruises has successfully completed its first season in the Red Sea, welcoming more than 70,000 passengers on routes that visited Egypt, Jordan and the Saudi private island of Jabal Al Sabaya, home to Saba Beach.

This move into the Mediterranean marks a new strategic chapter for AROYA Cruises, expanding its itineraries and bringing a touch of Arab culture and hospitality to Europe.

Dr. Joerg Rudolph, President of AROYA Cruises, commented: “We are thrilled to bring AROYA to some of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean this summer. AROYA Cruises first set sail just six months ago, and we are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved so far, with passenger numbers in the Red Sea exceeding our expectations. We look forward to welcoming our valued guests this season.”
