In just a few weeks, Carnival Cruise Line 's exclusive Celebration Key destination will welcome its first guests. On July 19, 2025, Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy will officially open this haven that offers the perfect day in paradise.
Celebration Key is part of Paradise , which also includes RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay (the exclusive destination known for its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters in The Bahamas), and Isla Tropicale, a favorite destination where island life blends with spectacular natural beauty. Both destinations will receive upgrades in 2026.
The Sun Portal on Celebration Key, a radiant sun-shaped arch, is the gateway to paradise and a perfect spot for photos. Just beyond the Sun Portal is Paradise Plaza, where guests can get their bearings and decide how they want to spend their day.
The 10-story Suncastle, decorated with five enormous seashells, is the central hub of fun across the five sectors of Celebration Key. Two water slides, each over 100 meters long, offer friendly competition among guests as they zip through the castle with twists, lights, and colors, culminating in a thrilling splash finish perfect for a photo.
Calypso Lagoon and Starfish Lagoon are the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean, offering over 25,000 m² of pure fun. Calypso Lagoon is designed for adults looking to relax and cool off in a lively atmosphere, while Starfish Lagoon is designed for families, with numerous ways to enjoy themselves in the sun.
The adults-only section at Calypso Lagoon includes DJ Island, where guests can dance and cool off at Mingo's Tropical Bar & Kitchen, which serves typical Bahamian dishes and is home to the world's largest swim-up bar, with 166 seats in the water.
For maximum enjoyment with friends and family, the Over-the-Lagoon Super Villas accommodate up to 10 people with comfortable sofas, shaded chairs, ceiling fans, hammocks, swings, sun loungers, fresh fruit, snacks, and lunch service. They also include a beverage cooler, lockable shelving, a dining table for eight, and a private deck with in-water sun loungers and a slide directly into the lagoon. There are four Over-the-Lagoon Super Villas available to book: two on Calypso Lagoon (adults only) and two on Starfish Lagoon (families), as well as two Super Villas on the Family Beach and two on the adults-only Beach.
Pearl Cove Beach Club is an exclusive, 18+ beach club offering a premium experience. A secluded, natural setting leads to a 1,000 m² private infinity pool with a sun deck, in-water loungers, and a swim-up bar. Pink parasols, comfortable daybeds, and tropical music create a relaxing atmosphere. Behind the pool is a private beach with food and beverage service.
Reservations for Pearl Cove Beach Club include three options: club access + welcome drink, club access + open bar (maximum 10 drinks) and all-inclusive club access (open bar + food from the private restaurant).
