MSC Cruises has unveiled new details about MSC World Asia, the company's highly anticipated new flagship, which will begin sailing the Mediterranean on December 11, 2026. Onboard, passengers will enjoy a blend of customer favorites and a host of new concepts and spaces. Highlights include the longest dry slide at sea and exciting new offerings in the revamped World Promenade. From international cuisine to world-class entertainment, every detail has been carefully considered to create unique and unforgettable moments.
As the third ship in the World Class, MSC World Asia will incorporate subtle design elements inspired by Asia's rich cultural, artistic, and scenic heritage. It will feature seven distinct districts on board, each with its own unique atmosphere, facilities, and experiences, designed to guide passengers through the ship and allow them to personalize their journey according to their tastes and preferences.
With seven-night itineraries from Barcelona scheduled for winter 2026/27 and summer 2027, the ship will visit Marseille (France), Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome (Italy) and Valletta (Malta).
Among the highlights of MSC World Asia is the World Promenade outdoor gallery, an elegant open-air space located in the heart of the ship, where exclusive dining, relaxation and entertainment options are combined with stunning sea views.
Passengers can expect a mix of old favorites and new concepts and features, including new additions such as the Pan-Asian specialty restaurant or the 81.3-meter dry slide, The Spiral; but also venues such as Sweet Temptations, for a sweet treat at any time of day; Promenade Bites, a casual spot serving freshly prepared street-food style snacks; or the All Stars sports bar, Coffee Emporium for coffee lovers, and a luxury accessories boutique.
