Alma Cruceros announces the definitive cessation of its activity as a shipping company, following the unilateral and unjustified termination of the charter contract by the ship's owner, which has made it impossible to continue with the solutions that were being explored to keep the project operational.
Unexpectedly, the ship's owners have removed the vessel bound for Gibraltar waters, taking all the goods and equipment belonging to Alma Cruceros on board.
Previously, the company had been forced to temporarily suspend operations because it could not guarantee the promised levels of quality and service. The main cause was the failure of the hotel and catering provider, whose lack of operational responsiveness made it impossible to offer passengers the expected experience.
Alma Cruceros is currently processing all customer and supplier claims through the email address reservas@almacruceros.com, the sole channel for handling these matters. They are working with their insurance providers and legal counsel to provide an orderly response to all those affected.
The company reserves the right to initiate appropriate legal action to recover damages caused by external decisions that have seriously harmed clients, suppliers, and the project itself.
