Albatros Expeditions and Polar Latitudes will join forces

Albatros Expeditions and Polar Latitudes are joining forces under the same ownership group to coordinate and combine their expedition cruise operations in the Arctic and Antarctic. The joint polar fleet for the 2025-2026 season will consist of the ships Ocean Albatros, Ocean Victory, MS Seaventure, and Ocean Nova, building on their extensive experience in immersive travel to the polar regions, serving diverse market segments, and prioritizing low-emission voyages.

Albatros Expeditions and Polar Latitudes will join forcesAlbatros Expeditions recently became the sole owner of its newly built flagship vessel, the Ocean Albatros, which operates year-round. In addition, Albatros holds a long-term lease on the Ocean Victory for Antarctic operations. These X-Bow-designed vessels are the newest on the Antarctic market, luxuriously equipped, and renowned for their low emissions compared to other ships.

These strengths complement those of Polar Latitudes, a US-based expedition company recognized for its leadership in Antarctic operations. Polar Latitudes is known for offering immersive experiences on the white continent, its outstanding work in citizen science, and its ongoing support for NGOs working to protect the fragile polar ecosystem.
