Explora Journeys has officially launched its collection of Mediterranean voyages, coinciding with the start of the season. To commemorate this milestone, the departure of EXPLORA II from Barcelona was celebrated on April 3rd, along with the grand opening of the new MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
With immersive journeys through the Mediterranean aboard EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, guests can enjoy the elegance, comfort and spirit of discovery that define the Explora Journeys brand.
Until November 2025, travelers are invited to immerse themselves in the Ocean State of Mind as they sail the Western and Eastern Mediterranean, enjoying the sun-drenched coasts of Italy, Greece, Turkey, France, and beyond. All itineraries combine iconic destinations with hidden gems and unexplored ports, such as Skiathos (Greece), Portofino (Italy), St. Tropez (France), and Mahón (Spain), offering a perfect blend of cultural discovery and relaxed elegance.
Passengers embarking or disembarking from EXPLORA II in Barcelona will enjoy a seamless arrival and departure experience at the new MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal. Designed by the renowned Catalan studio Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, the terminal perfectly complements the elegance of the Explora Journeys experience. With expansive glass facades that maximize natural light, the space offers an open and luminous atmosphere that reinforces the connection with the sea, reflecting the sophisticated comfort and intuitive service on board.
