Windstar Cruises presents its 2026 Southeast Asia program aboard its newest yacht, Star Seeker, which will debut in December 2025. The company offers two main itineraries that can be combined in 17 different variations, including pre- and post-cruise shore excursion programs.
The program offers a deep dive into the culture, gastronomy and history of Thailand and Vietnam, stopping at ports away from the main attractions and spending only two or three days in each country, taking advantage of the Star Seeker's small size to offer a more immersive experience.
The itineraries begin in Hanoi, Bangkok, and Phuket, allowing guests to maximize their time ashore before and after sailing, with pre- and post-cruise excursion options to destinations such as Angkor Wat.
Thanks to its small size, Star Seeker has exclusive access to ports and docking points that larger ships cannot reach, including the ability to navigate rivers to dock in the heart of cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok. It will also stop at Ko Kood for the Windstar Signature Beach Party, a port visited only by select small ships, and explore Krabi and Ko Yao Noi.
Windstar's Southeast Asia program features two main cruise-only itineraries:

10 days: Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand – A Vietnam-focused itinerary with stops at three or four Vietnamese ports, including nights in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi (Halong Bay), plus a visit to Cambodia where passengers can book a three-day, two-night excursion to Angkor Wat.

11 days: Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia – A Thailand-focused itinerary with stops at six Thai ports, including Krabi and Ko Yao Noi, plus an overnight stay in Singapore, one of the highlights of the trip.
Itineraries in Southeast Asia can be enriched with cultural extensions before or after the cruise:

Hanoi – A three-night stay on cruises embarking or disembarking in Halong Bay. Passengers can immerse themselves in Hanoi's local life with food tours, morning tai chi lessons, visits to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton), traditional puppet shows, and bicycle tours through pottery villages.

Angkor Wat – A three-night extension to cruises that begin and end in Bangkok, with a visit to Angkor Wat. Passengers will explore Siem Reap to learn about Khmer culture and heritage, as well as the floating markets of Tonlé Sap Lake.

Chiang Mai – A three-night extension to northern Thailand, available for cruises that begin and end in Phuket. Passengers will visit the iconic mountain temple Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, participate in ceremonies with monks, visit an elephant sanctuary, and explore vibrant night markets.
Passengers can also combine itineraries on Star Collector voyages, ranging from 20 to 41 days, including the longest crossing between Tokyo, Japan, and Phuket, Thailand. Guests will also receive complimentary daily laundry service, allowing them to travel light.

The new Star Seeker will feature 112 spacious suites, almost all with private balconies or floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that allow guests to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning views.
