About Alma Cruises
Alma Cruceros is Spain's first boutique cruise line. With an authentic and genuinely Spanish product, it aims to meet the unmet demand of Spanish, Latin American, and Spanish-speaking travelers, as well as those who love Spain and its culture but are not Spanish speakers. The gastronomy of Michelin-starred chefs Martín Berasategui and Paolo Casagrande, along with art, culture, entertainment, and nightlife, will be the driving force behind onboard activities. Memorable experiences at each destination will also be a key focus.
Another differentiating element of Alma Cruceros is that it is the perfect combination of an exclusive traditional cruise with personalized services and a private yacht, where you can enjoy the sea directly by using its marina and the deployment of a pool outside the ship, in addition to the one that the ship itself has.
Their first ship, the Ocean Victory, launched in October 2021, is 104 meters long, with 93 cabins, all outside cabins, 85% of which have balconies, accommodating up to 186 passengers in double occupancy. Highly innovative, thanks to its inverted bow design and hybrid electric engines, it consumes 60% less fuel than a conventional ship, making it the vessel of its type with the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger. This, along with the onboard management of water and waste, demonstrates Alma Cruceros' strong commitment to sustainability and the environment.
Alma Cruises will begin operations in April of next year, with its inaugural cruise from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Málaga. Since its launch last April, the company has recently begun selling its cruises, reaching agreements with the main players in the Spanish cruise industry and initiating similar efforts in Latin America.
