Explora Journeys has signed a letter of intent with the Dutch shipyard Den Breejen Shipyard for the construction of new luxury riverboats, marking the brand's entry into the luxury river cruise segment.
Since its launch, Explora Journeys has sought to transform how people experience sea travel through its Ocean State of Mind philosophy, which combines the freedom and spirit of discovery of ocean travel with the elegance and refinement of European hospitality and design. Now, the brand plans to bring this same approach to Europe's most iconic rivers.
Details regarding the ship designs, onboard experiences, delivery schedules, and initial itineraries will be announced later. Sales are expected to begin in 2027.
