Carnival Cruise Line presents its new sailings that extend cruises from the homeports of Galveston and Jacksonville through spring 2027 and open new opportunities to sail to popular destinations in Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Among the new cruises is the addition of longer cruises to the popular Carnival Journeys program, preceding the deployment of the Carnival Miracle in Galveston in 2026. When the ship moves from Seattle to Galveston after the 2026 Alaska season, it will offer a 16-day cruise departing on September 26, 2026, which includes a transit through the Panama Canal and visits to Cabo San Lucas (Mexico) and Puntarenas (Costa Rica).
Cruise from Galveston on the Carnival Miracle
From Galveston, the Carnival Miracle will continue Carnival's deployment of four ships from the popular Texas port and will offer a selection of Western Caribbean cruises in 2026 and 2027. The ship will sail both four-day itineraries with a stop in Cozumel, offering a long weekend getaway from Galveston every weekend during the winter months, and five-day options that include visits to Progreso, Yucatán.
For guests seeking longer voyages, Carnival Miracle will also offer unique 10-day cruises exploring Eastern and Western Caribbean destinations such as Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, as well as Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Some sailings visit exotic destinations like Belize, Mahogany Bay, and Montego Bay, while other options include visits to Costa Rica and Colón, Panama, from where shore excursions to tour the Panama Canal can be booked.
The new itineraries unveiled today mark the Carnival Miracle's second season in Galveston. The ship will first arrive on October 16, 2024, completing Carnival's new four-ship deployment plan for the popular homeport.
Cruise from Jacksonville on the Carnival Elation
Carnival Elation will continue its series of Bahamas cruise itineraries that guests can enjoy year-round from Jacksonville. Guests can choose from several four- and five-day cruises, departing Thursdays and Saturdays with stops in Celebration Key, Carnival's newest flagship destination, and Nassau.
Some itineraries include a visit to Bimini, and the five-day options also offer an additional stop at Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays.
