Carnival Cruise Line begins a multi-year partnership with the Leagues Cup soccer tournament in North America, as the official cruise line partner of the event.

The tournament features 47 clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and LIGA MX who will compete in 77 matches over the next month.
As the official cruise line of the Leagues Cup, Carnival will enhance the fan experience with stadium activities, live match broadcasts, and a digital presence, including a range of co-branded online content for the Leagues Cup's social channels.
“Anyone who watches a professional football match knows that the stadium is full of high-energy fun, which is exactly the kind of atmosphere we love at Carnival and a good reason why you'll find plenty of football fans on board our ships.”.
“Partnering with the Leagues Cup is a great opportunity to bring our Carnival fans together with another passionate fanbase, further solidifying our alignment with the types of sports we know our guests love,” said Amy Martin Ziegenfuss, chief marketing officer of Carnival Cruise Line.
“Partnering with Carnival Cruise Line allows us to merge the excitement of soccer with the joy of travel and adventure. Together, we are committed to enhancing the tournament experience and creating unforgettable memories for fans across North America,” said Carter Ladd, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Major League Soccer.
The League Cup began this past weekend and will conclude with the championship final on August 25.
