Becoming the 21st ship in the company's innovative fleet, the Norwegian Luna has just put on sale a variety of exciting round-trip voyages from Miami departing on April 4, 2026, through November of the same year. The Norwegian Luna will begin its inaugural Caribbean season with two Western Caribbean itineraries: one to Roatán Island, Honduras; the other to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and the third to Harvest Caye, Belize, the company's resort destination. Following this, the ship will sail seven-day cruises with stops at beautiful Eastern Caribbean destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL's private island in the Bahamas, which will feature a new pier by the end of 2025.
Measuring 322 meters in length, with a gross tonnage of 156,300 and a capacity for approximately 3,550 guests at double occupancy, the Norwegian Luna will represent a 10% overall increase in size and capacity compared to the Prima-class ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. The Norwegian Luna's design will be that of the sister ship to the Norwegian Aqua, the company's newest ship, scheduled for delivery in March 2025. Both ships are currently being built by the renowned Italian shipyard Fincantieri, with interior designs created by internationally acclaimed architects AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design, and Studio Dado.
The sister ship of the Norwegian Aqua will debut in March 2026 with seven-day Caribbean cruises already available from the cruise capital of the world, Miami.
“Inspired by the connection between the moon and the ocean tides, we are thrilled to introduce Norwegian Luna as the perfect complement to its sister ship, Norwegian Aqua,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line. “The debut of Norwegian Luna demonstrates our ongoing commitment to offering our guests more of what we know they enjoy and value: a brand-new ship with the latest innovations that also sails to the beautiful tropical destinations of the Caribbean. It is important to us to be able to provide our guests with more to see, do, and experience on board—and ultimately, more of their cruise vacation. We look forward to welcoming them to Norwegian Luna.”
The artwork adorning the hull of the Norwegian Luna will showcase a lush, dreamlike landscape by ELLE, the renowned street artist from Napa, California, who has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Nike, Reebok, and Ralph Lauren. The piece, titled “La Luna” (The Moon), is a visual exploration of humanity’s deep-rooted connection to the celestial forces of space, as human beings are intrinsically linked to the ebb and flow of the moon. “La Luna” will be proudly displayed on the bow of the ship, guiding guests on an epic and extraordinary journey of discovery.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Norwegian Cruise Line, renowned for showcasing stunning artwork on the hulls of its entire fleet,” said ELLE. “It’s been an incredible experience creating this piece and knowing that my 322-meter artwork will sail the seas, traveling the world for everyone to see.”
Reflecting the luxurious design and architecture of the Norwegian Aqua, the Norwegian Luna will thrill guests with NCL’s signature Aqua Slidecoaster, a one-of-a-kind hybrid of roller coaster and waterslide debuting next year on the Norwegian Aqua and set to become the longest and fastest waterslide at sea. Featuring two adrenaline-pumping slides and a magnetic elevator that whisks adventurous guests along two different routes, this attraction will boast three decks of fun twists and turns around the ship’s funnel. The Norwegian Luna will also feature a digital sports venue, the Glow Court, offering a variety of interactive activities for guests during the day and transforming into a nightclub at night. Guests can also continue to enjoy some of their favorite experiences aboard the Norwegian Luna, including The Drop, NCL’s 10-story freefall waterslide, and the Stadium, an open-air space offering complimentary activities.
Norwegian Luna will shine brighter than ever thanks to the celestial artwork on its hull, inspired by the reflection of moonlight on the sea, created by the renowned street artist, ELLE.
Norwegian Luna will feature the new, luxurious three-bedroom duplex Haven Suites at the brand's premium resort, The Haven by Norwegian, accessible only with a keycard, which was first announced on the sister ship Norwegian Aqua. These spacious, two-story suites will feature separate living and dining areas, three bathrooms, a balcony, and three bedrooms. Haven guests will continue to enjoy 24-hour butler service and a dedicated concierge team, as well as access to a large sundeck, an infinity pool overlooking the ship's stern, an outdoor spa with a glass-walled sauna and cold plunge pool, two whirlpool tubs, a private lounge, and an exclusive bar stocked with premium spirits and wines.

The Norwegian Luna will also see the return of several of NCL's most highly rated guest experiences, including Ocean Boulevard, the 4,300-square-meter open-air promenade that encircles the entire ship to bring guests closer to the sea; Vibe Beach Club, the adults-only outdoor space; Infinity Beach, which offers stunning ocean views; and a spacious upper pool deck furnished with sun loungers.

Guests aboard Norwegian Luna can also enjoy new dining and beverage experiences in Prima Plus Class, such as Sukhothai, the company’s specialty Thai restaurant with a diverse menu of both traditional and creative dishes, and the Indulge Food Hall with 10 different food stalls, including the vegan restaurant Planterie. NCL’s specialty and complimentary restaurants include Cagney’s Steakhouse; Le Bistro, the fine-dining French restaurant; and Onda by Scarpetta, the upscale Italian restaurant. In addition to the culinary offerings, guests can relax and enjoy their favorite drinks at some of the most popular bars and lounges, such as the Whiskey Bar, Belvedere Bar, and Metropolitan, NCL’s modern Sail & Sustain cocktail bar, which won the 2024 Vibe Vista Award for “Best Drink Menu.”.
The rest of the experiences on board the Norwegian Luna will be revealed next year.
