Norwegian Cruise Line expands its "Walk for Wellness" campaign to travel agents to continental Europe after its success in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

The program, which will run from October 1 to 31, 2024, encourages participants to focus on mindfulness and mental well-being and follows the motto "count steps, do something positive, win!".
As part of its "Partners First" philosophy, NCL has been supporting its travel agents for over a decade. Beyond traditional sales support, including training and marketing resources, NCL is committed to fostering the personal well-being of its partners. The expansion of "Walk for Wellness" across Continental Europe aligns with this mission, offering travel agents a platform to enhance their mental well-being while fostering a sense of community within the travel and tourism industry.
Kevin Bubolz, Vice President & Managing Director Continental Europe, Middle East & Africa at Norwegian Cruise Line, stated that “following the tremendous success of ‘Walk for Wellness’ in the DACH market and other regions, we are delighted to expand this initiative to all of Continental Europe.”
"Walk for Wellness" invites travel agents throughout October to join a shared virtual walk. For this year's edition, NCL has set an ambitious goal. Participants will cover a total of 180,000 km, representing the first year of service of the Norwegian Aqua, the 20th ship in its award-winning fleet, which will be launched soon.
Travel agents who wish to contribute positively to their mental well-being as part of a large team can now sign up for the initiative, and participants can track their progress through the free MoveSpring app, which syncs with smartphones and wearable devices such as Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Garmin.
The app allows users to monitor their steps, follow the Norwegian Aqua's journey on a virtual map, connect with other participants, compete in weekly challenges, and win exciting prizes, including a place on the Norwegian Aqua's maiden voyage and an NCL cruise for two in a balcony stateroom in 2025 as the grand prize.

For each milestone reached on the Norwegian Aqua virtual journey, a donation will be made to GAMIAN-Europe, a pan-European organization that represents and defends the rights and interests of people with mental health problems across Europe.
