Costa launches new cruises to Japan and Southeast Asia

Costa Cruises offers a major new feature for winter 2025/26, with two new itineraries entirely dedicated to Asia.

In addition to cruises in the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Caribbean, United Arab Emirates, South America and Around the World, from November 2025 to January 2026 the company will offer the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful destinations in Asia from the unique perspective of the sea, aboard the Costa Serena, with maximum comfort, thanks to the "fly & cruise" formula, which will allow guests to fly from Madrid and Barcelona to embark directly.

Cruises can be 7, 14 or 28 nights long, and you can extend your stay by choosing flights a few days before or after the cruise.

• The Costa Serena's inaugural itinerary focuses on Japan. A 15-day journey to the East, including the Land of the Rising Sun, exploring ceremonial traditions, golden temples, and lush Zen gardens.

The full itinerary includes Hong Kong, Keelung (Taiwan), Naha (Japan), Kagoshima (Japan), Tokyo (Japan), Kobe (Japan), Nagasaki (Japan), Busan (South Korea) and Hong Kong.

• The second itinerary, also 15 days long, is an immersion into Southeast Asia. From the boundless fields of Vietnam to the temples and golden beaches of Thailand, passing through the ultramodern skyscrapers of Singapore, the lush greenery of the Philippines and Brunei, and discovering mosques and local crafts.

The destinations included in this itinerary are Hong Kong, Nha Trang (Vietnam), Phu
My (Vietnam), Koh Samui (Thailand), Singapore, Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei), with a 12-hour stopover, Puerto Princesa, Palawan (Philippines), Hong Kong.

Cruises to Japan will be available from November 21, 2025 to January 30, 2026, embarking in Hong Kong and Tokyo, and will alternate with those to Southeast Asia, which instead offer embarkation in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The two itineraries can be combined into a single 28-night holiday, visiting all 14 destinations on both routes. The ideal solution, for example, to celebrate the end of 2025 and the beginning of the New Year.

In addition, there will be the possibility of extending the stay in the destinations by choosing the
flight dates of your preference, regardless of those determined for the cruise.

Alternatively, for those with less time, it is also possible to purchase just one week of either itinerary.

Before setting sail on these new cruises around Asia, the Costa Serena will undergo major renovation work that will further enhance the onboard experience.
