Royal Caribbean has named Meghan Trainor, the GRAMMY-winning artist, as godmother of the new Utopia of the Seas.
The duo is celebrating the collaboration by naming the ship after it and performing live at a 3-night celebration just days before the official debut of the new holiday on July 19.
The party begins in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, from where Utopia will sail on 3 and 4 night vacations to Royal Caribbean's award-winning private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, The Bahamas.
This three-night cruise features one party after another, from a live performance at Utopia by the singer of “Timeless” while the ship is on the private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas, to the naming party with the chosen godmother of Utopia.
All of this will take place just days before the official debut of the new holidays on July 19 in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.

Royal Caribbean and Meghan Trainor will kick off the celebration by officially naming the Utopia of the Seas. Special guests, crew members, and members of the media will be in attendance.
Meghan, as godmother, will continue a maritime tradition by handing over the ship to its crew and future passengers who will enjoy the Utopia. The celebration will continue with an exclusive godmother performance at the open-air AquaTheater, and fans will have the opportunity to meet the star in person.

The celebration will mark the beginning of vacations on the Utopia, inviting passengers to create memories on short getaways. The Utopia of the Seas will debut with 3-night weekend and 4-night midweek voyages, offering a variety of experiences perfect for groups of friends and families.
Passengers can enjoy over 40 dining, drinking, and entertainment options, including exclusive parties, two casinos, and an immersive dining experience at Royal Railway – Utopia Station. Plus, there are numerous swimming pools to enjoy during their getaway.
This entertainment extends to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas. The island offers 14 water slides, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, and the new adults-only oasis, Hideaway Beach, with a private beach, pools, exclusive cabanas, and a live DJ.
The combination of Utopia of the Seas and Perfect Day at CocoCay ensures a short getaway full of fun and relaxation.
