A-ROSA has a variety of new itineraries and featured destinations for the 2025 season.
In 2025, A-ROSA ships will sail a total of 40 different routes along the Danube, Rhine/Main/Moselle, Rhône/Saône, Seine and Douro, combining stunning landscapes such as the Wachau, the IJsselmeer or the Douro Valley with plenty of time in metropolises such as Amsterdam and Vienna or beautiful cities such as Avignon and Rouen.
Discover the Rhine and Main rivers from Frankfurt with A-ROSA CLEA
The most significant itinerary optimizations have been made in the Rhine/Main/Moselle region. New this year are the departures of the A-ROSA CLEA, which will be based in Frankfurt in the 2025 season, thus offering an additional departure port in this cruise region.
On nearly ten different routes, the A-ROSA CLEA will travel from the Main metropolis to historic destinations such as Aschaffenburg, Würzburg, Strasbourg, and Basel. On a newly created 7-night cruise, the ship will combine the landscapes of the Middle Rhine Valley with visits to Cologne and Frankfurt.
The A-ROSA CLEA will offer the opportunity to visit the famous Christkindl Christmas markets during the festive season, when it sails from Nuremberg to Regensburg and Kehlheim.
A-ROSA SILVA also has a new itinerary booked with the 7-night cruise “Main & Moselle Experience”, which starts in Cologne and connects the cities of Cochem and Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle with the cities of Frankfurt and Aschaffenburg on the Main.
With the relocation of the A-ROSA ALEA to the Seine, the A-ROSA VIVA returns to its original cruising region and will depart from Cologne on voyages north of the Rhine to Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ghent and the Markermeer, as well as on cruises south of the Rhine along the Lorelei to Strasbourg (Kehl), Mainz and Koblenz.
Explore the diversity of the Danube from Passau
From the 2025 season onwards, all A-ROSA Danube cruises will start and finish in Passau-Racklau, offering guests more flexibility and convenience during arrivals and departures.
The journey through the historic center of Passau and the Confluence of the Three Rivers is a new highlight of the Danube Cruises 2025 with A-ROSA.
In addition to the popular 4, 5, 7, 14 and 18 night itineraries, a 9 night cruise will be introduced for the first time, with stops in Bratislava, Tulln and Linz, as well as extra-long stays in Vienna and Budapest.
Fascinating holidays in the south of France
Passengers can also enjoy revamped itineraries along the Rhône. A-ROSA STELLA and A-ROSA LUNA will stop in three cities on their new 7-night “Rhône-Provence Route” cruise, offering an even more memorable urban experience in Lyon, Avignon, and Arles.
Thanks to the multi-day stay, guests will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area after visiting the cities and enjoying the French savoir-vivre.
Those who also wish to visit the cities of Chalon-sur-Saône and Mâcon along the Saône can opt for the new 9-night “Rhône Route Panorama”.
During this cruise, the A-ROSA STELLA sails along the northern tributary of the Rhône and also visits Port St. Louis on the Mediterranean coast, as well as the renowned wine-growing villages of Viviers and Tain l'Hermitage. The ultimate highlight is a 24-hour stay in Lyon, one of France's largest cities.
From Paris to Le Havre via the Seine
In 2025, A-ROSA ALEA will depart from the center of Paris on several 5, 7 and 9 night itineraries along the Seine and will now stop in Le Havre on the 7 night cruises.
The famous French port city, with its distinctive architecture, is one of only two 20th-century urban ensembles listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
“The numerous new itineraries for the 2025 season are a large part of the most extensive program changes in A-ROSA’s history, with which we are responding to the trend towards greater relaxation and a more immersive experience of the destinations and regions we visit,” says Jörg Eichler, CEO of A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH.
“This is precisely the direction we want to move in going forward, because these optimizations take into account both our guests’ wishes and our sustainability goals. From the outset, A-ROSA has aimed to offer holidays that perfectly combine relaxation and adventure, information and entertainment. That’s why we’ve improved our onboard program, customized our excursions, and are actively adapting our itinerary design to this holistic concept,” Eichler continues.
“At A-ROSA, we want to reward those who book early. Until the end of July 2024, they will receive the most favorable cruise price for the 2025 premium fare with the A-ROSA Best Price and save up to 500 euros per person,” explains Stefan Sprunk, Head of Sales and Product.
