Celestyal has published the shore excursion program for its new 'Sublime Adriatic' itinerary for 2024, with 35 excursions available to book from now on.
The seven-night itinerary aboard the 1,260-passenger Celestyal Journey debuts on March 2, 2024. Departing from Greece, it includes three new countries for the ship – Croatia, Montenegro, and Italy – and six new ports – Kefalonia, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Bari, and Katakolo.
Shore excursions offer half-day and full-day options. The offerings include eight “Authentic Encounters,” which provide experiences with local people and attractions in groups of 20 or fewer. Examples of excursions include:
– “Igor’s Magical Recycled Art” in Dubrovnik. It consists of a guided tour of the old town, followed by a visit to the workshop and art gallery of Igor Hajdarhodzic, a Dubrovnik-born actor who has become an artist.
– “Hiking and cycling in Kotor”. This consists of a 15 km bike ride from Kotor to the village of Donji Stoliv, followed by a 45-minute walk through shaded forests to Gornji Stoliv, a village overlooking the Bay of Kotor that has been completely abandoned.
– Monopoli and rural life experience” in Bari. Includes a tour of Monopoli, a city founded on the remains of an ancient Messapian settlement, and a visit to a traditional Apulian farm to taste mozzarella and focaccia.

The Sublime Adriatic is available to book and is discounted as part of the Celestyal Plus+ Experience package supplement, which includes its premium beverage package, one shore excursion credit per person, a discount at the specialty restaurants Grill Seekers & Pink Moon, and also includes port taxes, gratuities and free Wi-Fi.
