MSC Cruises will have three famous chefs on board MSC Poesia during the second leg of its World Cruise.
The passengers currently aboard MSC Poesia have circumnavigated Africa, discovering new destinations at each port of call. Throughout this round-the-world voyage, the ship will visit a total of 52 destinations in 31 countries.
MSC Cruises has invited three renowned chefs to join the adventure, allowing passengers to discover the world through their palate, thanks to a culinary program available on board.
In addition to high-quality international dining options, passengers will now be able to experience something very special with menus created by a group of award-winning chefs.
These chefs will join the cruise at different intervals to prepare a full menu of three to four courses, each showcasing the best of their respective cuisines.
- Niklas Ekstedt, a Swedish chef with a Michelin star, television personality and writer, will serve dishes inspired by natural ingredients and his farm-to-ocean ethos, such as poached lobster and confit salmon.
- South African chef and restaurateur Reuben Riffelwill serve a menu inspired by local flavors. Guests will be able to sample authentic pickled fish with Cape spices, Karoo peppered lamb, and mallow pudding.
- Veteran Brazilian chef and restaurateur Allan Vila Espejowill serve a menu that includes authentic cassava soup, Bahian-style fish stew with vegetables and coconut milk, and a traditional Brazilian coconut and chocolate cake.
In addition, the chefs will also be on hand to greet passengers in person as they enjoy their creations in the ship's main restaurants.
Those who still wish to explore the world this year can still book the last remaining cabins for shorter segments of MSC World Cruise 2024 aboard MSC Poesia.
Those wishing to embark on this adventure in 2025 can still book cabins aboard the MSC Magnifica for the MSC World Cruise 2025, with an itinerary that includes 50 incredible destinations in 21 different countries. The cruise will sail through the Mediterranean, Africa, South America, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, and the Red Sea before returning to Europe via Jordan and Egypt.
