The Seven Seas Mariner set sail from PortMiami on January 6 to conduct Regent Seven Seas ' Navigate the World cruise .
Over the course of almost five months, the journey will explore Central America, the West Coast and Hawaii, the South Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Bermuda.
During 132 nights, the Seven Seas Mariner will visit 66 ports of call in 31 countries and four continents.
According to Regent, the cruise has been designed to offer immersive destination experiences, with 442 free shore excursions, as well as 12 overnight stays in port and crossings of both the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal.
Among the ports where the Mariner will stop overnight are San Francisco (California), Sydney (Australia), Singapore, Hamilton (Bermuda), Bali (Indonesia) and Papeete (French Polynesia).
The cruise will also offer access to 61 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the rainforests of Gondwana in Australia, the churches and convents of Goa in India, and the Medici villas and gardens in Tuscany, Italy.
During the cruise, passengers will also be able to enjoy exclusive experiences on land in three destinations: Wellington (New Zealand), Bombay (India) and Malaga (Spain).
The round-the-world cruise, which sold out within hours of booking opening, is scheduled to return to Miami on May 17.
On board the Navigate the World, guests can enjoy a range of amenities, including unlimited laundry service with valet parking, dry cleaning and ironing, dedicated telephone time per suite, onboard medical service, a commemorative gift, and much more.
According to Regent, the basic cruise fare also includes personalized service, specialty restaurants, drinks in bars and lounges, exclusive entertainment, and unlimited internet access.
The Seven Seas Mariner originally entered service in 2001 and can accommodate approximately 720 guests at double occupancy.
