Sailing round trip from Port Everglades, the global experience is one of the longest cruises offered by the company in 2024 and includes visits to six continents: Australia, North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

The itinerary features a total of 51 ports of call in 27 countries and territories across the Caribbean, the Pacific Ocean, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean.

The cruise also allows passengers to visit 25 UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Acropolis in Greece, the Cartagena Port Fortress in Colombia, and the ancient city of Ephesus in Turkey.

In addition to transiting the Panama and Suez canals, the cruise includes 11 overnight stays in ports, as well as a stop in Dubai.

Before returning to Florida in April, the cruise ship will travel more than 33,000 nautical miles and cross the Equator twice.

The ports that the Island Princess will visit include Puntarenas (Costa Rica), Los Angeles (California), Pago Pago (American Samoa), Catania (Italy) and Ceuta.

Built in France by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyards, the Island Princess entered service in July 2003. An identical sister ship to the 2002 Coral Princess, this 1,950-guest ship offers various amenities and public areas, including a casino, a two-deck theater, two pool decks, and a selection of restaurants.

Among its specialties is the Bayou Café and Steakhouse, a New Orleans-inspired restaurant serving traditional Cajun and Creole dishes.

The 88,000-ton vessel was refurbished in 2015 with new features, including a renovated self-service restaurant and additional cabins aft.
