Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2025 Alaska cruises. These cruises offer greater access to Alaskan wildlife and provide an opportunity for in-depth exploration.
For the 2025 season, Holland America Line has added a new Ultimate Denali Tour that includes two nights on Denali, one night in Homer, Alaska, along with additional Alaskan city visits and a seven-day cruise. All Alaska Cruises now include a complimentary excursion for guests in Denali National Park.
“We continue to improve our Cruisetours to ensure we remain the number one choice for exploring Alaska, from greater access to wildlife to the most land days in a single trip,” said Beth Bodensteiner, Chief Commercial Officer of Holland America Line.
“For 2025, we've added a new Cruisetour option, and we now include an excursion to Denali National Park for all guests. For travelers who want to see the Yukon, we remain the only cruise line offering this experience to one of the world's newest UNESCO World Heritage sites.”
With 17 different Cruisetours in 2025, guests can choose between a cruise to Alaska or a land-based trip, then decide to include one, two, or three nights in Denali National Park. Those wishing to venture further into Canada can add a trip to the Yukon landscapes with stops in Dawson City and Whitehorse. The four ships offering Alaska Cruisetours are: Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, and Zaandam.
For a limited time, when guests book Alaska 2025 Cruisetours with the premium "Have It All", standard shore excursion package amenities, specialty dining, a Signature beverage package, and Wi-Fi will be included.
Highlights for 2025 Denali Cruisetours:
- The Nieuw Amsterdam and the Noordam will offer Denali cruises of nine to 14 days between Vancouver (Canada) and Anchorage or Fairbanks (Alaska).
- All Denali Cruise Tours include a seven-day Glacier Discovery cruise through Glacier Bay and the ports of Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, plus College Fjord or Hubbard Glacier (depending on the direction) and the Inside Pass.
- All easy Denali itineraries include a complimentary natural history tour of Denali National Park.
- All double and triple Denali itineraries include the Tundra Wilderness, which offers the best wildlife viewing across Denali National Park.
Highlights of 2025 Yukon & Denali Cruise Tours:
- The Yukon & Denali Cruisetours range from nine to 18 days and include a three- or four-day Inside Passage cruise on the Koningsdam or Zaandam or a seven-day Glacier Discovery cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam or Noordam; a two- or three-night stay in Denali and a trip to the Yukon.
- 14-day Ultimate Denali Tour including one night at Home.
- Guests of Holland America Line Cruisetour will get to know one of the most recently declared World Heritage sites by UNESCO: Tr'ondëk-Klondike.
- All Yukon and Denali cruises include the services of a professional tour director who makes time ashore easy and comfortable.
- All Yukon and Denali cruises include a ride on the McKinley Explorer's dome cars, and some itineraries include the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad from Skagway.
- The Yukon & Denali Cruisetours include overnight stops in Dawson, Denali, Fairbanks, Anchorage and Skagway, depending on the Cruisetour.
- All Yukon and Denali itineraries include the Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park.

Cruises include a stay at the McKinley Chalet Resort, Holland America Line's hotel located on the banks of the Nenana River. The resort features restaurants and accommodations, including a 99-room complex offering Denali Suites with balconies and larger living areas.
Denali Square is a gathering area with restaurants, an amphitheater, fire pits, outdoor seating, shops selling local products, and a resident artists' lodge where Alaskan Natives and local artists display and discuss their work.
