Holland America will offer 13 new accessible voyages for all passengers, spanning 12 ports in 11 countries and territories. These excursions will allow guests to explore a destination's nature, culture, and cuisine without worrying about accessibility.
The company's accessible tours are carefully designed to avoid steps and stairs, and tour vehicles have ramps or wheelchair lifts.
Holland America Line's accessible excursions for 2024 include:
- Easy Nassau Forts, Pirate Museum & Distillery in Nassau, Bahamas: This five-hour shore excursion to Nassau includes a visit to Fort Montague, Fort Fincastle, the famous Queen's Staircase, and the Nassau Pirate Museum. At the John Watling's Distillery, guests can sample the rum produced there and learn about the distillation process.
- Easy Harrison's Cave, in Bridgetown (Barbados): The tour will take visitors to discover the magic of Harrison's Cave, explore craft shops and botanical gardens and see an exhibition of indigenous artifacts excavated from nearby sites.
- Easy Sea Turtles and Island Drive in George Town, Grand Cayman: This Grand Cayman shore excursion visits the Cayman Turtle Center, Hell's Rock formations, and the Turtle Rum Company. Travelers will also enjoy a scenic drive past the Governor's Residence and Seven Mile Beach.
- Easy Roatan Interaction with monkeys, sloths and iguanas in Mahogany Bay, Honduras: After a scenic drive to the Monkey and Sloth Sanctuary, guests can also check out the local market or visit the popular attraction that is the Marine and Iguana Reserve.
