After completing a summer program in Northern Europe, the Norwegian Prima has recently arrived in the Western Mediterranean for the first time.

Following its repositioning earlier this month, the Norwegian Cruise Line ship is offering nine- to ten-night cruises to destinations in Spain, Italy, and France. The first voyage in the series departed from Barcelona on October 13. Bound for Civitavecchia, the nine-night itinerary includes visits to Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Marseille, Cannes, Genoa, and Naples, as well as Livorno, where the Prima spends two days in port.
Other destinations visited by the ship during its autumn program in the Western Mediterranean include La Spezia, Toulon, Cagliari and Cartagena.
The Norwegian Prima will depart Europe on November 20 for an 11-night repositioning cruise to North America. The transatlantic cruise sails from Barcelona to New York, with stops in Spain, Portugal, and Bermuda.
During the winter of 2023-2024, the 142,500-ton ship will offer a series of seven-night Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston. Itineraries include visits to a variety of Western Caribbean destinations, such as Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, and Roatán in Honduras. The Norwegian Prima also has regular calls scheduled at Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island in Belize.
In 2024, the ship is scheduled to offer a third summer program in northern Europe, in addition to two Mediterranean cruises in October.
The first in a series of six Prima-class ships, the Norwegian Prima was built at the Fincantieri shipyards in Italy and entered service in 2022. According to Norwegian Cruise Line, the 3,215-guest vessel was designed to elevate the guest experience by offering enhanced features.
Among the facilities is the three-deck Prima Speedway, the world's largest go-kart track at sea, plus Indulge, a food hall offering different specialties and experiences.
