Azamara, the small-ship cruise line famous for Destination Immersion and Extended Destination Days, is ushering in a new era of exploration with its Grand Voyages. These cruises spend more time in port and include added services such as airfare and shore excursion credits.
Guests of Azamara will embark on extensive, continent-crossing journeys, taking them from destinations such as the isolated island of Tasmania to Niigata, Japan's largest rice producer, all while enjoying the comfort of Azamara's intimate ships.
“In recent years, we have seen a growing number of our customers opting for longer itineraries and consecutive voyages,” said Carol Cabezas, President of Azamara. “In response to this increasing demand for extended voyages, we have created Grand Voyages to encourage our customers to travel further and delve deeper into the rich tapestry of cultures, cuisines, and traditions that shape our world. Our ships will be their home away from home as they travel from South Africa to Portugal, or from Japan to Greece, creating meaningful memories along the way.”
Each Grand Voyage offers Extended Destination Days, providing 10 or more hours in port, including late nights and overnight stays. With some itineraries featuring more than 30 Extended Destination Days, travelers will have ample time to thoroughly explore each destination they visit.
Azamara's Grand Voyages are enhanced with added services: complimentary economy class flight, shore excursion credits, an upgraded premium beverage package, Wi-Fi for two devices, and weekly laundry service.

- Grand voyage of 46 nights from Denmark to Spain with Azamara Onward, departing on August 11, 2024
- Grand Voyage of 59 nights from Norway to Italy with Azamara Quest, departing on August 12, 2024
- Grand Voyage of 62 nights from Venice to Cape Town with Azamara Quest, departing on October 19, 2024
- Grand voyage of 70 nights from Greece to Australia with Azamara Pursuit, departing on October 26, 2024
