Ahead of the Disney Dream's inaugural season in Europe, the 13-night cruise recently departed from Miami for the Mediterranean.

The itinerary, which concludes a winter program in the Caribbean, links South Florida with Barcelona and also includes visits to five destinations in Portugal and Spain.
In addition to spending eight full days at sea, the Disney Dream will stop in Lisbon, Cadiz, Malaga and Cartagena before reaching the cruise's final destination.
Once in Europe, the Disney Dream begins its first European summer season on May 20. Replacing the Disney Magic, which sailed to this destination in recent years, the ship, built in 2011, will offer a range of four- to eleven-night itineraries in the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.
The Dream's program, which will depart from major cruise ports such as Barcelona and Rome, includes visits to ports in the region, such as Santorini, Piraeus, Naples and Cannes.
Before returning to the United States at the end of September, the ship will also offer itineraries around Northern Europe with cruises from Southampton and Copenhagen to the British Isles, Norway, Iceland and the Baltic, among others.
On September 17, the Disney Dream offers a westbound transatlantic voyage as it returns to North America.
The 11-night voyage will depart from Southampton bound for New York and will be followed by a series of itineraries through Bermuda and Canada and New England departing from the Big Apple.
