Explora Journeys, the luxury cruise brand of the MSC Group, will feature Italian chef Mauro Uliassi to offer a unique culinary experience aboard its inaugural ship, EXPLORA I. Guests can enjoy his menu at the Anthology restaurant during the inaugural cruise, which departs from Southampton on July 17 and arrives in New York on September 25. As the first guest chef at Anthology, one of the 11 culinary experiences available aboard EXPLORA I, Chef Uliassi and his team will present a masterful blend of tradition and modernity inspired by Italian gastronomy.

The christening ceremony for EXPLORA I will take place in Civitavecchia, near Rome, Italy, on July 8. She will then embark on her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, on July 17 for a 15-night cruise through the Norwegian fjords and the Arctic Circle, ending in Copenhagen, Denmark.
