Crystal Cruises today unveiled its 2022 Grand Voyage, a 132-night ocean voyage aboard the Crystal Serenity from Miami to Los Angeles, January 17 to May 29, 2022. The extensive, destination-rich itinerary calls at 82 ports in 32 countries and includes 11 nights in some of the world’s most iconic cities, such as Istanbul, Monte Carlo, Naples, and Cannes, as well as exclusive island destinations like St. Barthélemy, Madeira, and the Canary Islands, among others. The 2022 Grand Voyage allows guests to indulge their passion for travel with new destinations and in-depth explorations of each region.
“Our guests are highly experienced travelers who crave discovery, cultural immersion, and the allure of exotic destinations,” said Jack Anderson, president of Crystal. “The 2022 Grand Voyage has been artfully designed to showcase unusual ports of call and unique experiences that offer our guests a fresh perspective on even the most beloved destinations, while inviting them to indulge in the Michelin-starred cuisine, personalized service, unparalleled spaciousness, and luxurious all-inclusive amenities that remain the hallmark of the Crystal Experience.”.
The 132-night Grand Voyage 2022 itinerary is designed for travelers seeking a longer cruise vacation, but also offers those with less time to travel the world a choice of 11 cruise segments ranging from 9 to 16 nights. With unique itineraries for each travel segment and featured destinations such as the Caribbean, Morocco, the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast, the Greek Islands, the Black Sea, the Holy Land, and more, the options for creating customized combinations for regional exploration are virtually endless. Bookings for the Grand Voyage 2022 will be open to 2022 World Cruise guests from September 14-23 and to the general public beginning September 24, 2021.

One of the most remarkable features of the Grand Voyage 2022 is the sheer number of islands on the itinerary—45 in total—including 19 stops in the Caribbean and an unusual exploration of the Canary Islands with stops on six of the seven main islands and an overnight stay in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Other island explorations include the Cape Verde Islands, the Azores, Madeira, Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Malta, Crete, Cyprus, the Greek Islands, and Bermuda.
Collectors of rare port experiences will enjoy several little-visited ports of call that showcase incredible natural beauty and fascinating history, such as the San Blas Islands (Panama), Santa Cruz (U.S. Virgin Islands), the Island of the Saints (Guadeloupe), Cagliari (Sardinia), Praia and Santo Antão (Cape Verde), Gaeta (Italy) and Syracuse (Sicily), among others.

Port-rich transatlantic crossings, a wealth of UNESCO World Heritage sites, a transit through the Panama Canal and explorations of ancient empires, legendary art, magnificent architecture and natural wonders complete this grand ocean voyage.
When Crystal Serenity sets sail on the 2022 Grand Voyage, all guests will be required to be fully vaccinated as a requirement of the company's Crystal Clean+ protocols, established in response to COVID-19. Guests aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to departure on all 2022 voyages.
