For 20 years, the twin megayachts SeaDream I and II have been exploring some of the world's most desirable sailing destinations, including the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and many more. Known for offering more of a sailing experience and less of a cruising experience, SeaDream coined the phrase "It's sailing, not cruising: enjoy the difference."

Founded in September 2001, just before travel was forever changed by 9/11, it's no coincidence that they're marking this milestone during a pandemic. The concept of a small ship, a yacht-like cruiser, has gained popularity over the two decades since SeaDream's inception. SeaDream Yacht Club President Bob Lepisto, who has been with the company since day one, said: “Our aim was to create an opportunity for casual, elegant cruising where every guest feels as if they are on their own private yacht, emphasizing incredible service and cuisine, and the pleasure of traveling with like-minded guests. Throughout our 20-year history, we have remained true to that mission.
Set up for continued success, SeaDream's appeal lies in the appeal of cruising on a boutique vessel with fewer people (its ships can accommodate a maximum of 112 guests), relaxing in a spacious open deck, dining al fresco, and visiting less crowded yacht harbors.
SeaDream Yacht Club is a family-owned business, and its sole founder, owner, and president, Atle Brynestad, said, “This is a celebration of our hardworking crew and our global ground team, our loyal guests, and our travel industry partners, without whom we wouldn’t be here today. We celebrate thanks to you .”
