In a statement released yesterday, CLIA, the international cruise line association, pledged that all member cruise lines will conduct pre-boarding coronavirus tests for all passengers and crew on all ships with a capacity of more than 250 passengers. This commitment is considered a first in the tourism sector and an example of the cruise industry's leadership.

“We view testing as an important first step in a complex health plan that we believe confirms the industry’s commitment to making the health, safety, and well-being of our passengers, crew, and the communities we visit our top priority,” he stated.
