Mundomar Cruceros, the exclusive agent of Cunard Line for Spain and Portugal, is organizing the exhibition at Pangea, the largest travel store in Madrid.
The exhibition, running from May 26 to June 2, will explore the history of the company that, since its founding in 1840, has embodied the essence of luxury and distinction in the world of cruising. Visitors will also discover many fascinating details and learn about the many celebrities who have sailed on its ships. World Cruises will be a central focus, as Cunard Line was the first company to circumnavigate the globe with passengers and remains the industry leader in this type of voyage.
The exhibition will trace Cunard Line's 178-year history through photographs, lectures, posters, and videos. Visitors will be able to journey through the company's history, reminiscing about the golden age of cruising. The only company currently offering regular transatlantic cruise service will highlight the distinction of this type of travel and its impact on history.
Since its founding, and under the leadership of Samuel Cunard, Cunard Line has maintained its prestige throughout the years, establishing itself as one of the most cutting-edge and luxurious shipping companies. From the Britannia, the company's first ship built in 1840, to its elegant Queen Mary 2, one of the stars of this exhibition, Cunard Line ships have been the setting for many remarkable stories, and through this exhibition, visitors can relive them and become part of them.
Illustrious figures such as Elizabeth Taylor, Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, and Winston Churchill chose Cunard Line for their travels aboard its ships, enjoying unique and unforgettable experiences. In addition to iconic photographs and anecdotes of these celebrities on board the shipping company's vessels, visitors can also enjoy a 1/200 scale model of the Queen Mary 2, the company's flagship, as well as advertising posters designed throughout Cunard Line's history.

The company, in addition to being the first to undertake this voyage, has completed more round-the-world trips than any other in the industry. Cunard's Round the World voyages represent one of the greatest travel experiences a person can enjoy in their lifetime.
This exhibition will take place in an unparalleled setting: Pangea, the world's largest travel store, located at number 26 Príncipe de Vergara Street in the heart of Madrid. This unique space offers visitors the opportunity to dream and begin enjoying their trip from the moment they start planning, providing them with all kinds of resources and advice to ensure that no detail is overlooked.
In addition, all those who visit the exhibition from May 26 to June 2 will be able to participate in a raffle, where the winner will be able to enjoy a double cabin with a balcony on a transatlantic cruise on the iconic Queen Mary 2.
During the exhibition, exclusive films about the history of Cunard Line daily at 1:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. A series of events are also planned. The first, a guided tour of the exhibition, will take place on May 26 at 1:00 PM. Another highlight is the lecture “178 Years of Glamour on Cunard Cruises,” scheduled for Thursday, May 31 at 7:00 PM. The final event, the lecture “The Fascinating Adventure of Circumnavigating the World,” will be held on June 2 at 6:30 PM. Finally, the drawing for a transatlantic cruise aboard the Queen Mary 2 will take place at 7:30 PM on Saturday, June 2.
