The Port Authority of Gibraltar has recently joined the International Association for Ports and Harbours (IAPH), which advocates for the interests of ports worldwide through strong relationships, collaboration, and shared information that helps solve common problems, as well as advanced sustainability practices and continuous improvement.
IAPH brings together 200 members from leading ports in 90 countries.
Furthermore, the Port of Gibraltar Authority has recently updated its port handbook. This new 2018-2020 version can be consulted online at www.gibraltarport.com or in print. This edition includes informative articles and all the necessary information for port operations in the Bay of Gibraltar.
Manuel Tirado, CEO and Port Captain, is pleased with this new version and thanks all those who have contributed in any way, this being an example of the excellent relationship between the Port Authority of Gibraltar and the maritime community.
