The award, presented annually by Cruises News Media Group, was presented at a gala held at the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena (Murcia), with industry representatives in attendance. This recognition reaffirms Princess's leadership within the sector and establishes the company as a benchmark for passengers seeking the ultimate cruise experience.
The Cruise Excellence Awards are the result of a large-scale survey conducted among domestic cruise passengers, recognizing industry leaders in 13 different categories. This gives the results special value, as they represent the passengers' own assessments.
Jose Antonio Hermoso, director of Mundomar Cruceros, exclusive representative of Cunard and Princess Cruises, was in charge of collecting the award and wanted to thank all the users who had voted the company as the best Premium cruise line in 2016 and the Region of Murcia for the success of the Royal Princess in its embarkations in the city of Cartagena.
