And it seems like it was just yesterday.
The first Excellence Awards ceremony for cruises took place in the Elephant Room in Barcelona in 2008. Now, a special Gala will be held in Cartagena on February 16, 2017 , to mark the tenth anniversary.
We have the honor and the right to be "The Cruise Industry's Party, The Gala of the Cruise Industry" in Spain, and for that reason, we are preparing a very special celebration. We will all gather once again, reminisce about previous editions, raise a toast, and have fun, but above all, WE WILL AWARD OURSELVES. In addition to the usual categories, we will have surprises and special prizes.
Therefore, we would like to invite all of you who joined us in Barcelona or Malaga for its 5 editions or in Palma for its two ceremonies, to celebrate this tenth anniversary with us in Cartagena.
Voting is still underway, but we will know the names of the winners shortly, which as always will be communicated to the winners well in advance.
The Port Authority and the Cartagena City Council are dedicating all their effort and care this year to ensure that we organize the best Gala, dress up in our finest clothes and display the "Glamour of the cruise".
