The Holland America cruise ship Prinsendam, 204 meters long and flying the Dutch flag, has arrived at the South Dock of the Port of Huelva with 825 passengers from the United States, the Netherlands, Portugal, Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Canada and Poland, among other nationalities, as well as 449 crew members on board.
The ship, coming from the Port of Lisbon, will undock at 7:00 p.m. bound for the Port of Gibraltar, according to the shipping agent Ership.
The Port of Huelva has made available to tourists who want to visit the city a shuttle bus system from the South Dock to Plaza del Punto, so that cruise passengers can walk through the streets of the center and be close to the main tourist attractions of the city such as the English Quarter, the Casa Colón, the Plaza de las Monjas or the pedestrian shopping streets of the urban center.
Tourists will receive information and brochures about the city and province's tourist attractions thanks to the collaboration of the Huelva City Council and the Provincial Tourism Board. The Port of Huelva is also offering free Wi-Fi at the South Dock so that tourists and ship crews can have free internet access.
For its part, the Huelva Chamber of Commerce continues its Vive Huelva Cruises campaign in shops and hospitality establishments with the purpose of promoting a quality brand, which will lead companies that join to adopt commitments of attention and service to cruise passengers.
