The leading shipping company in the Spanish market expands its winter offering with this new route that will bring more than 25,000 passengers to the Canary Islands archipelago.
In addition to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, this route includes stops in La Palma, Agadir, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.

Pullmantur Cruises presented this morning 'Canary Islands', a new route that, with embarkation in the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will allow more than 25,000 passengers to discover all the charms of the Canary Islands and Agadir.
Lasting seven nights, with the first of 16 departures scheduled for November 26, guests will exploreSanta Cruz de Tenerife, La Palma, Agadir, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura aboard the Horizon. This Pullmantur Cruises operation is expected to generate a potential economic impact of over twelve million euros in the Canary Islands, stemming from the 75 port calls Pullmantur Cruises will make in the archipelago. Nearly 50 of these are embarkation and disembarkation calls, where the average cruise passenger spends 30% more than on transit stops.
Ricardo Melchior Navarro, President of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Port Authority, highlighted that Pullmantur Cruises' commitment to the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is "excellent news for us, as we now have a new passenger terminal for large cruise ships, with a capacity for 4,000 people, in addition to a highly energy-efficient building achieving an 'A' rating. All of this makes it possible for ships like the Horizon to operate in our port from now on."
Meanwhile , Javier Marín Martinón, Director of Itinerary Planning for the Pullmantur Group, pointed out that “we have designed a very attractive route, not only for passengers from the mainland, who will be able to enjoy the best climate in the world during the winter, but also for islanders who will be able to discover the unique character of each of the islands in a very comfortable way.”
For his part, Javier Rodríguez, Director of Ports, Ground & Travel Services of the Pullmantur Group, said that “the good facilities of the Terminal as well as the excellent air connections that Tenerife has were determining factors when choosing this port.”
