Norwegian Cruise Line has announced changes to the 2017 summer season itineraries for the Norwegian Jade and the Norwegian Spirit, two of the five ships that will sail European waters in 2017. To meet customer demand, the international cruise company has expanded its offerings with new destinations in the Mediterranean and more options in Northern Europe.

The Norwegian Jade, NCL's first homeported ship in Hamburg, will offer a variety of cruises from the Hanseatic City for those wishing to embark in Germany in June and July, as well as several itineraries departing from Southampton throughout the summer season. The ship will sail from Hamburg on three Norwegian fjord itineraries. It will also offer two 12-night cruises to the North Cape and a 14-night cruise to Norway, Iceland, and the UK. In addition, it will call in Hamburg on September 9 to participate in Hamburg Cruise Days and join the spectacular parade.
In early May, the Norwegian Spirit will move to its new seasonal homeport in Civitavecchia (Rome) and will offer several 10- and 11-night cruises that include stops at smaller ports, such as Cagliari in Sardinia, Palma de Mallorca, Koper or Malta, as well as three new 11-night Holy Land itineraries with an overnight stay in Haifa.
“We are delighted that thanks to these new itineraries we can offer our customers an even wider range of cruises to the most beautiful ports in Europe: from Iceland in the north to the Canary Islands in the south,” commented Christian Böll, Managing Director EMEA of Norwegian Cruise Line.
New Norwegian Spirit cruises have been on sale since July 15, and Norwegian Jade cruises will be available for booking starting in August.
