cruisePAL has announced a partnership with Sea Cloud Cruises, a company specializing in luxury cruises aboard tall ships. The cruise line will implement several of the company's technological solutions, including a centralized reservation system (CRS), the eVoyager Guest Portal, and a port and itinerary planning tool.
The goal is to optimize the commercial and operational management of Sea Cloud Cruises, both in its booking processes and in the administration of passenger data and the planning of its international routes.
The Port & Itinerary Planner tool will allow users to design itineraries further in advance, taking into account various factors related to ships, ports, shipping routes, and fuel consumption. Meanwhile, the eVoyager Guest Portal will contribute to improving the digital experience for passengers and communication with the company.
Sea Cloud Cruises will also utilize cruisePAL's reservation management and customer relationship capabilities to streamline processes between its international offices and strengthen the coordination of its operations.
Technology at the service of luxury sailing
Founded in 1979, Sea Cloud Cruises is one of the most renowned companies in the luxury sailing cruise segment. Headquartered in Hamburg and operating in the Americas from Hollywood, Florida, it combines the maritime tradition of tall ships with the intimate ambiance and personalized service of a private yacht.
Its fleet comprises the iconic Sea Cloud; its sister ship, Sea Cloud II; and the more modern Sea Cloud Spirit. All three offer exclusive itineraries to destinations around the world.
Sonja Merckel, Sales Director at cruisePAL, highlighted the unique nature of the cruise line and the opportunity the agreement represents. "Sea Cloud represents a truly unique combination of maritime tradition, luxury, and personalized passenger experiences. We look forward to contributing to its development with technology that will bring greater efficiency, business flexibility, and improved customer interaction," she stated.
For his part, Maximilian Block, CEO of Sea Cloud Cruises, emphasized the importance of having a suitable technological platform to support the company's international expansion. He explained that the collaboration will simplify the management of reservations, passengers, and commercial operations, while also enhancing the customer experience.
