The central theme of the event is “The Development of Cruise Tourism in Tenerife – An Industry of the Future.”
It will take place on June 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the event hall of the Hotel Bahía del Duque (Costa Adeje, Tenerife).
The Tenerife Cruise Forum will be a knowledge and debate meeting between national and international professionals and experts from shipping companies, agents, tour operators, travel agencies, ports and the cruise sector in general in order to highlight the excellent opportunities that cruise traffic represents for Tenerife.

At 9:00 a.m., the program's activities will begin with the opening remarks by the President of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Pedro Rodríguez Zaragoza; the President of the Island Council, Carlos Alonso Rodríguez; and the General Manager of the organizing company, Virginia López Valiente. Key topics on the program include: the state of the global cruise industry; Tenerife as a leading tourist and cruise destination in the mid-Atlantic; the role of port and excursion agents; the selection of cruise itineraries; European cruise port promotion associations; air connectivity in new markets; and finally, seasonality in cruise destinations.
The first Tenerife Cruise Forum, promoted by the Port Authority of Tenerife, is held in collaboration with Siam Park, Loro Parque, Turismo de Tenerife, and Intercruises, and is organized by Cruises News Media Group. This forum is aimed at professionals in the port sector, auxiliary industries, travel agencies, tourism promotion institutions, as well as managers of hotels, guides, restaurants, museums, taxis, shops, and, in general, all services that could benefit from the arrival of cruise passengers in Tenerife
