StarCruises presents the 2027 Star Navigator sailings from Keelung and Kaohsiung, available for booking from October 1, 2026, with 13 round-trip itineraries ranging from 2 to 7 nights to various destinations in Japan and South Korea. The new season will run from December 11, 2026, to September 1, 2027, with Keelung as its main homeport.
During the winter school holidays, the Star Navigator will operate from Kaohsiung between January 24 and February 4, 2027, offering families new options for enjoying a cruise before the Lunar New Year. As the only cruise ship operating from Kaohsiung during this period, passengers can choose between 2- and 3-night round-trip cruises to Hong Kong and Okinawa, Japan.
With year-round departures from Keelung, StarCruises offers a variety of ways to discover Japan, with itineraries encompassing 12 Japanese destinations, as well as select routes that combine visits to Busan and Jeju in South Korea. From short breaks to Okinawa and 5-night cruises around Japan and South Korea to a special 7-night summer holiday cruise with stops in Kochi, Tokyo (via Yokohama), Shimizu, and Osaka, passengers can choose a route tailored to their vacation plans, whether it's a short break, a family trip, or a longer holiday.

The only cruise departing from Kaohsiung during the winter holidays and Lunar New Year
From January 24 to February 4, 2027, the Star Navigator will operate from Kaohsiung, offering 2- and 3-night cruises to Hong Kong and Okinawa during the winter school holidays and the Lunar New Year period.
Departures from Kaohsiung will allow passengers from central and southern regions to begin their vacations closer to home. These short cruises are especially suitable for families seeking a simple winter getaway or a trip before the Lunar New Year, without the need to travel north to Keelung.
5-night cruises to Japan and South Korea
For those who want to visit more destinations during the same vacation, the Star Navigator will offer different 5-night cruises that combine some of the most popular destinations in Japan and South Korea:
- 5 nights Busan–Sasebo–Naha: departures on December 20, 2026, February 21 and March 21, 2027.
- 5 nights Busan–Nagasaki–Naha: departures on May 23 and June 6, 2027.
- 5 nights Jeju–Kagoshima–Naha: departures on April 25, May 9, July 25 and August 15, 2027.
- 5 nights Fukuoka–Nagasaki–Naha: departures on May 2 and June 27, 2027.
- 5 nights Jeju–Sasebo–Naha: departure on March 14, 2027.

Star Navigator sailings for 2027 will be available for booking starting October 1, 2026. Passengers can book departures from Keelung through StarCruises and partner travel agencies in the region, while departures from Kaohsiung will be available through participating domestic travel agencies.
